Healthy Lifestyles

Encouraging healthy lifestyles is very important to us at pre-school.

We have a healthy eating policy and provide healthy snacks mid-morning and afternoon of fruit and vegetables, milk and water.

If children stay all day they are asked to bring a healthy packed lunch.
We encourage physical activities and make the most of our indoor hall and outdoor space for physical activities.

We also take the children out into the local community to the park, local woods and fields to further support exploration and exercise.

We talk to the children about looking after themselves through hygiene, washing their hands and brushing their teeth.
